Abstract:

The main rationale of the research was to discover the how employees of quasi government power distribution companies were utilizing geospatial technologies in their organization and various factors that was associated with level of utilization

  • Determine level of accessibility to geospatial technologies
  • Determine current utilization of technology by staff in the organization.
  • Identify factors that facilitated or hindered the GIS current technology adoption and diffusion level.

Research to determine the levels of user intention to adopt the GIS and to investigate the relationship between user acceptance factors and user intention to adopt the GIS.

With the development of technology, numerous number studies has been carried out for acceptance of Information Technology (IT) system in organization , still there is need for study of acceptance of geospatial technology in  Indian Power distribution sector.

Abstract:

Restoring a scene distorted by atmospheric turbulence is a challenging problem in video surveillance. Image registration enables the geometric alignment of two images and is widely used in various applications in the fields of remote sensing, medical imaging and computer vision. In this paper, we propose a novel method for mitigating the effects of atmospheric distortion on observed images. Region of interest (ROI) for each frame is taken, in order to extract accurate detail about objects behind the distorting layer. A simple and efficient frame selection method is proposed to select informative ROIs, only from good quality frames. Each ROI should be register in order to reduce the distortion. The space varying problem can be solved by image fusion using complex wavelet transform. Finally contrast enhancement is applied.

Keywords: Dual Tree Complex Wavelet Transform (DT-CWT), Image Fusion, Region of Interest (ROI).

Abstract:

Neural disorder somewhere is a feeling to have seizures generated from mind. Epilepsy made by Greek word epilepsia, main causes of epilepsy is head injury and tumors of brain etc. The symptoms of epilepsy is confused memory tiredness etc. The diagnosis of epileptic seizure is completed by neurological test and blood test. Cure of epilepsy by allopathic treatment is two type medication and surgery. The herbal treatment is two type Unani & Home remedies. The Unani & Home treatment is approximately equal, its medicine does not side effected. The home remedies are very easy to found this treatment. The Allopathic medicine is effected the kidney, hair loss, insomnia, suicidal thoughts, vomiting and liver fail ration.

Keywords: Epilepsy; Allopathic treatment; Unani treatment.

Abstract:

The main objective of this project was to design a temperature controller for controlling the temperature of a NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). We have tried to achieve both of these objectives in our project. For temperature control we have used a temperature sensor in conjunction with a microcontroller to create a temperature controller. This controller controls a relay circuit which trips the heater element once the set range is crossed. We have also interfaced a GSM module with the microcontroller to inform the user in case the threshold has been crossed.

Abstract:

In 21st century who is not aware of the word terrorism? In the present time Terrorism is a terrific term well known all over the world. There is no doubt that it has become a global problem posing threats to the well-structured social fabric of all the countries of the world. Of late, terrorism is hell bent on destroying the global beauty of the unity in diversity. The whole world is watching that the continuing terrorist activities are being committed by anti-elements armed with arms and ammunitions that are out to annihilate humanity. Most of the countries like Syria, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Iraq i.e. mostly from Muslim countries which are reportedly the safe haven for terrorists and their organizations are also under the strong grip of terrorism. Today, no country of the world is safe from the cruel and heinous acts of terrorists because each country across the world is being threatened and ravaged by extremism. In this way Terrorism is the biggest global problem which has affected almost all the countries of the world. The aim of present paper is to focus on  the issue of global terrorism with reference to the terrorist activities or incidents as mirrored in Extremely Loud Incredibly Close by  Jonathan Safran Foer who seems to have succeeded in realistically depicting the actual lethal consequences and far-reaching effects of such terroristic attacks causing mass destruction on a larger scale-  injuries, death, traumatic reverberation, in his novel Extremely Loud Incredibly Close in the wake of  9/11 and Dresden terroristic sabotage or devastation.

Abstract:

The increasing interest in emission reduction, ship operating costs reduction and the newly adopted IMO EEDI rules calls for measures that ensure optimal utilisation of the fuel used for main engines on board ships. Main engine exhaust gas energy is by far the most attractive among the waste heat sources of a ship because of the heat flow and temperature. It is possible to generate an electrical output of up to 11% of the main engine power by utilising this exhaust gas energy in a waste heat recovery system. This paper deals with an innovative concept of utilizing residual heat from main engine for producing electric power using Residual heat generator.

Keywords: Residual heat generator (RHG), Waste heat recovery system (WHRS), Energy efficiency design index (EEDI), Exhaust Gas Boiler (EGB).

Abstract:

The paper aims to study the nature of co-creation behaviour among doctors and their relationship with patients in the present era of globalization. The present research is qualitative in nature where the data has been collected from 25 doctors through personal interviews. The personal interviews are taken from the doctors working in private and government hospitals in Jammu and Kashmir. From the interviews of doctors, it was inferred that the patients in the present era are pro active towards the health treatment and they gather the knowledge regarding their diseases and treatment through other sources (like internet, other doctor, patients ) as well. The doctors try to maintain good relationship with their patients and it has been found that co-creation behaviour of the doctors lead to value creation in health care. Some patients also try to develop good relationship with doctors. From the interviews we also concluded that there is always a barrier between the doctors and patients which prevent them from being friendly with each other. It has been observed that co-creation is higher in private clinics than in government hospitals.
