Abstract:

The mystery illness known as SARS n-Cov2 COVID-19 has revolutionized the lives of people irrespective of their age group; it has brought everything to a standstill. Lockdown was imposed which exacerbated the anxiety levels. It has to a great extent affected the physical and mental health of the masses across the globe. This quantitative and qualitative interpretative research aims to examine the level of anxiety among 251 college and university students studying in various universities and colleges across the Kashmir division of Jammu and Kashmir, India. The study was conducted in July 2020 when the lockdown was strictly in action. Convenience sampling was used to collect the data. This Study administered a questionnaire known as Generalised Anxiety Disorder Screener (GAD -7), an anxiety questionnaire which is self-reported to find out the anxiety level among students, and thematic analysis was used initially to measure the coping mechanism before the extracted code were put in frames. It was found out that most student’s experienced moderate and severe anxiety due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown.Thematic data analysis outcome indicated five major themes-Developments of Personal interest, Putative coping, Religious Coping,Gaming and Maladaptive coping strategies. This research study discovered that students tried to mitigate stress but were mostly found aimless and the stance for handling such an uninvited situation wasn’t clear. However, more research is required to investigate anxiety levels among students.

Abstract:

In this modern world where images are considered to be the mode of communication among people and the presence of noises in images can affect the information, which is present in that images, to retain back the original information wavelet transformation and wavelet packet transformation can be used. This paper deals with the comparative result of image denoising using Wavelet Transformation and Wavelet Packet transformation with gaussian noise using thresholding technique, in order to have look on the transformation that can provide the better result to get back the original information of images, the comparative result is measured by Peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) and mean square value (MSE).

Abstract:

Malicious computer programs today have tried to target websites, which have a significant effect on their availability and security. The CAPTCHA is a tool that is an efficient way of solving this problem. CAPTCHA is a full automated public turing test. Many human activities are performed on the Internet every day, such as schooling, commerce, conversations etc. Some hackers write programs to automatically make false registrations, for example when registering in websites, that waste web resources while this may even stop the whole website. Thus, human users should be differentiated from CAPTCHA software systems. CAPTCHA handwritten picture may be a work around. In this paper literature review of CAPTCHA has been done in order to enhance our knowledge about how CAPTCHA can provide web security focusing in particular on handwritten CAPTCHA and audio, video CAPTCHA in general.
