Abstract:

This paper demonstrated the design, construction and performance evaluation of automated eggs incubator for poultry farmers. The aim of this research was to produce a low cost user friendly modern incubator to increase the production of day old chicks for small and medium scale poultry farmers. The incubator has the hatching capacity of 100 eggs. Factors that were considered during the performance evaluation of the incubator were humidity, 55% and temperature, 37° C during the first 18 days and were maintained at 37.5 °C till hatching. Turning of eggs was achieved with the use of tilting trays mechanism controlled by a programmed electric motor. The trays were lifted through an angle of 40° either side of horizontal at every hour and lasted for four minutes. 100 fresh, healthy, well developed and matured eggs were used to test the incubator. The result of the test revealed the following average values- fertile eggs 95, infertile eggs 5, hatched eggs 85 and hatchability of 89.47% was achieved.

IJTRS-V5-I6-001 :- AN EMPIRICAL INVESTIGATION OF FINANCIAL RISK MANAGEMENT ON FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF COMMERCIAL BANKS
Author: Jowhar Massoudie
Organisation: Faculty of Economics, Kardan University, Afghanistan
Email: jowhar.massoudie@gmail.com
DOI Number: https://doi.org/10.30780/IJTRS.V05.I08.002
Abstract:

This research paper assesses the influence of financial risk management on financial performance of commercial banks in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan. The data collected through questionnaire, which is adopted from different authors. The multiple regression analysis (Ordinary Least Square) technique was utilized to obtain the results. The random sampling technique used to acquire the data. The main results of the study show that financial risk management has a positive and statistically significant effect on financial performance of commercial banks. One-unit rise would lead commercial banks to rise their financial performance. Similarly, the study portrayed that cash management has a positive and statistically significant effect on financial performance. One-unit rise would lead commercial banks to rise their profitability. The study recommend that commercial banks have to pay high attention in managing the distinct sort of risks to rise their profitability.

Abstract:

Over the past few years the automotive industry has aggressively researched ways to develop systems for safety, to save humans life. Generally working of a car wiper is based on manual switching. In this case the driver has to switch ON the power button to turn on the wiper. It complicate things because the driver has to concentrate simultaneously on driving and wiper. With drivers exposed to increased distraction, automatic rain sensing wiper system becomes more appealing feature, as they eliminate the risk and distraction to turn on the wiper manually. In this automatic wiper system, a rain sensor, microcontroller and a driver integrated circuit is used to convert manual operation into automatic operation.

When water falls on the rain sensor, the sensor sends the signal to the microcontroller and then the microcontroller processes the data and energizes the driver IC to turn on the wiper. With these modifications automatic cleaning of the glass can be done without the involvement of the driver.

DOI Number: https://doi.org/10.30780/IJTRS.V05.I08.004
Abstract:

The aim of this work is to minimize the cost of raw materials and to reduce the environmental pollution by recycling the post sintered ceramic sanitaryware waste. Three compositions of ceramic sanitaryware (0% waste, 5% waste, and 10% waste) were prepared by adopting the standard of industrial condition. The sanitary waste was used as a partial replacement of feldspar under three different sintering temperatures (1150 °C, 1175 °C, and 1200 °C). The physical and mechanical properties were analyzed in terms of the variation of composition and temperature. However, the properties of the experimental specimens were improved by the addition of 5% waste, but a significant deterioration of the properties was observed with the further addition of sanitary waste. Moreover, the properties were satisfactory below 1200 °C temperature.

Abstract:

The study of COVID-19 outbreaks and its impact on drinking water which necessary for our life. Membrane filtration methods used for the purification of water, in this method water from different samples are passed through a membrane filter with a pore size of 0.45micro meter and the membrane is incubated on an agar plate. Bacterial cells trapped on membrane filter will grow into colonies that can be counted, and bacterial density of the water samples can be calculated. Finally, we know that if water gets contaminated with the fecal matter then disinfect the water by chlorination or UV system.
